The 2022 Connecticut Town Meeting, COST's premier event for municipal officials, took place on February 8th. Each year, the COST Board of Directors invites the entire membership to meet to discuss and adopt COST’s legislative priorities for the upcoming session. In odd numbered years the annual meeting is held in January and in even numbered years it is held in February to correspond with the legislative session. Fundamental to its legislative action strategy is the assumption that COST will have an informed and action-oriented grassroots membership of municipal leaders who will lobby their legislators and testify on these important municipal issues.
